Elephant's Foot Plant in Isola Dessert
This one growing on the ground, but also found on plain rock. Taken during the very dry and still hot winter in the dessert of Isola. And despite all of that and 5 months without any rain, this plant is in full blossom. Amazing.

''Pachypodium rosulatum'', common name Elephant's Foot Plant, belongs to the dogbane family Apocynaceae.
