Not the fish but the sponges: Hairy olives - Stelletta clavosa This is an almost identical picture to the previous spotting were I added a record of the freckled hawkfish but somme comments on the spherical olive looking thingies where the fish is perched led me to look for their identity and guess what yes, they are called Olives! no wonder why, and they are tiny sponges of the species Stelleta clavosa.
