  1. And I think this one is a Malagasy Kestrel, as it does have the classic trim silhouette of a falcon, but it looks really tiny, and the [brown above / white with small dark spots below] color scheme fits the Kestrel better. Posted 3 years ago, modified 3 years ago

The Malagasy Kestrel , also known as the Madagascar Kestrel, ''Malagasy Spotted Kestrel'', ''Newton's Kestrel'', ''Madagascar Spotted Kestrel'', ''katiti'' or ''hitsikitsika'', is a small bird of prey of the genus Falco. It is named after British ornithologist Edward Newton.
