    1. Thanks, it was. I like the accent of the yellow head. Most of my moth photos from the past several mothing nights are going to be semi-sucky, aka blurry, though. Anemia makes me wobbly. And, it's really hard to balance on a chair when you are wobbly, lol. And, one frustrating thing -- the moths don't seem to like my sheet. They land mostly everywhere else! Posted 5 years ago
      1. Not to worry, it's not always easy. Did a session 2 weeks ago and was quite rusty myself, missing lots of shots.

        I've seen that happen on several occasions, moth avoiding the cloth. Not sure why. I wonder if it's the fabric, a particular scent/cleaner used on it.

        1. I took the sheet down, but will try it again for moth week. I use only unscented laundry soap and no fabric softener. So, maybe the moths don't like unscented., haha?! They could be attracted by scented soaps. Posted 5 years ago

It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Manitoba, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Ontario, Pennsylvania, Quebec, South Carolina, Texas, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
