  Deb, explaining a small quirk of the system: it's best to use the "reply" link below somebody's comment if you're directly responding to them. Reason for this is that otherwise they will not get a notification and may never see your response.
  
  If you're the photo owner (like you are in this case), you would get notifications for all comments, even non-replies, but this is not true for drive-by commenters. Posted one year ago

        To set your own profile photo, you need to go to https://www.gravatar.com. There you can create an account and associate it with the email address you also used for JungleDragon. Once you have an account there, you can upload any image there.
        
        A few minutes later, this will automatically reflect here, but also any other website making use of this system. Posted one year ago
