Ring-tailed Lemur in Anja Reserve observing
Ring-tailed lemurs are incredibly playful and social animals. We had a hard time making good photographs because they move so fast and are always playing with each other. Yet sometimes they take a break, but only to observe the playing from a small distance, as shown here.

The ring-tailed lemur is a large strepsirrhine primate and the most recognized lemur due to its long, black and white ringed tail. It belongs to Lemuridae, one of five lemur families, and is the only member of the "Lemur" genus. Like all lemurs it is endemic to the island of Madagascar and endangered.
