
Large-flowered Bellwort - Uvularia grandiflora
Yellow flowers atop an angled stem with sessile leaves. The flowers had tiny midges (Family Cecidomyiidae) on them, but unfortunately, I didn't see them at the time to get closer photos.
The genus name comes from the anatomical term "uvula" that refers to the lobe hanging from the back of the soft palate in humans.
Habitat: Mixed forest
