The color of the head becomes paler when he is feeling uncomfortable.<br />
Note that the head is completely bald except for some hairs in front of it&#039;s eyes and around it&#039;s ears. I guess these hairs are to keep debris out during flight. <br />

Hooded vultures their beak is not strong enough to penetrate the leather skin of animals, but is more adept in reaching difficult spots. They wait for larger vultures to open up a carcass and eat the remains when the larger vultures are finished eating.<br />

The Hooded Vulture is an Old World vulture in the order Accipitriformes, which also includes eagles, kites, buzzards and hawks. It is the only member of the genus "Necrosyrtes". It breeds in a stick nest in trees in much of Africa south of the Sahara, laying one egg. Birds may form loose colonies.
