
Leafy Liverwort (Hymenophyton flabellatum)
Beautiful small fan shaped liver worts, about 100 mm wide, with thin leaves each dividing into two lobes. These were seen in layers forming a dense cloak.
Spotted covering a damp log with what looked like asplenium fern in a damp gully - rainforest.

''Hymenophyton flabellatum'' is a species of the order Metzgeriales , one of perhaps several species in the genus ''Hymenophyton''.
