Life Ends Before It Starts Tiny yellow Fungi growing on a failed hatching of Leaf Insect - Phyllium philippinicum.<br />
Its difficult to tell whether the Nymph is weakened due to infestation of the fungi or the fungi grows on it after it died from the failed hatching.<br />

Phyllium philippinicum is a species of walking leaf insect and part of the order (Phasmatodea) which include stick insects. This is a perfect mimic of a leaf.
