''Pogonocherus ovatus'' is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It has a wide distribution throughout Europe, although it has become extinct in several countries, including Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands. It contains the varietas ''Pogonocherus ovatus var. subovatus''.
