Phyllobrotica quadrimaculata is a somewhat larger Leaf beetle (Chrsyomelidae) with a development on Scuttelaria on the banks of ponds and streams. The female deposits her eggs on the ground under the plant and the larvae dig into the ground and feed on the roots.
