Mottled Shieldbug laying eggs - back view, Heesch, Netherlands

Big failure here is that during the capture, I did not see or realize that this shieldbug was in the process of laying eggs. The branch it is on was heavily moving due to wind, so I was focused on getting something in focus, and missed the eggs entirely.
