    I had no idea there were so many other species in the Cladia complex and, after reading a paper, I doubt I will ever be able to tell the differences without an electron microscope (lol).

      I agree with you on the identification of the lichen . I just took the name of the signage displayed at the site where the lichen are ,which has been placed there by the South Australian national parks people. I can only question that they had the identification done properly.
