      Thanks Christine - had this somewhat older collage in mind for upload here for the longest time, but somehow didn't get around to it. The other single egg that I photographed yesterday made me realize (once again) that these were "pending"... Posted 5 years ago, modified 5 years ago

The Box bug

Gonocerus acuteangulatus is a herbivorous species of true bug in the family Coreidae. It is commonly known as the box bug in the UK as it once only occurred in Box Hill in Surrey where it fed on box trees.
