Flat-headed Baldcypress Sapwood Beetle (Acmaeodera pulchella) On Rudbeckia (hirta?) at the edge of a dense mixed forest. I didn't have a lot of time for photos of this lovely Bruprestid, unfortunately. This was in direct sun, so I started to melt before I could get any good shots. I regret not sticking it out a little longer to get some better shots! I was super excited to add this to my Buprestid list!
