        1. I love macro photography, particularly flowers, small animals n insects. I posted most of my photos daily to some numbers group of photography including this group. This is the way to keep me busy after pension. As described by Christine Young that this plant is native to desert ground n perhaps was introduced to Indonesia during Dutch occupation in this region long time ago. Thanks

"Stapelia gigantea" is a species of flowering plant in the genus "Stapelia" of the family Apocynaceae. The plant is native to the desert regions of South Africa to Tanzania.
