    1. I'm happy with your remark, because that is exactly the goal of a tilt-shift: making things look like miniatures.

      Technically, a tilt-shift is a post processing action where a small band of the image is in focus, whilst both the foreground and background are out of focus. This creates the illusion of a minitiature:

      In my case, I applied this effect using Adobe PS6, where it is a built-in option. You only need to draw the line that you want in focus.
