The beautiful yellow underwing (Anarta myrtilli) is a small moth with a wingspan of about 25 mm. It is found throughout most of Europe where it frequents heathland. It’s a diurnal species, which means that it is mostly active during daylight hours. It must be quite a sight to witness this beauty flying low over the heathers in the sunshine! {Spotted in France by JungleDragon user, Claude Chavand} #JungleDragon #Beautifulyellowunderwing #Anartamyrtilli
