Common Dandelion - anthers, Heesch, Netherlands
2.5:1 and 3.5:1 macro shots of the anthers of a Common Dandelion, idea by Christine. I also tried a 5:1 macro but it failed quite hard. The difficulty in this case is the lack of dynamic range. Everything is a highlight, even more so with light added. With only highlights, stacking software struggles to discover sharp areas.

"Taraxacum officinale", the common dandelion, is a flowering herbaceous perennial plant of the family Asteraceae. It can be found growing in temperate regions of the world, in lawns, on roadsides, on disturbed banks and shores of water ways, and other areas with moist soils.
