Impatiens hildebrandtii differs from the similar Impatiens firmula by its straight slender spur, the shape of the dorsal petal, the shape of the united lateral petals, and the shape of the leaves. Impatiens firmula has a forward-curved spur, and helmet-shaped dorsal petal.<br />
