Raccoon Tracks in Snow Raccoons walk in a distinct, 2x2 pattern. The front and hind legs on each side of their body move nearly simultaneously, and they can stretch forward pretty far with their front legs. The resulting pattern is one where the tracks are paired, with each pair of tracks consisting of a front track from one side of the body and a hind track from the other side.<br />
