Purple Pigmy iris - Iris cf pumila The identification of this species is questionable. Iris reichenbachii is very similar and difficult to distinguish based on photos. However, I will bet on Iris Pumila, having in mind already identified species from this area.<br />

Iris pumila L. probably originated as a natural hybrid between ''Iris pseudopumila'' Boissier & Heldreich and ''I. attica'' Tineo. It ranges from Austria through eastern Europe and the Balkans, Ukraine, southern Russia, and the Caucasus into Turkey.
