  1. It’s interesting to see it sitting on foliage of the same green coloration as on its body. Is it possible that it might be attracted to the shape and colour ? Posted 5 years ago
    1. Could be Ernst, or maybe a coincidence since it's a fresh one. So maybe he landed where his fly-capabilaties ended. Posted 5 years ago

''Gomphus pulchellus'', the western clubtail, is a species of dragonfly in the family Gomphidae. It is found in Western Europe, although absent in the British isles. Its natural habitat are clean ponds and canals, clay and mud holes.
