Pincushion Moss - Leucobryum glaucum The leaves have broad midribs, which make the leaves look really thick and fleshy. When the plant dries out, it&#039;s color changes from green to a pale whitish green. The Pincushion Moss

L. glaucum grows in very dense, glaucous green, swollen cushions or hummocks, turning dirty white when dry, and sometimes over 50 cm tall.
