    Is Metlapilcoatlus mexicanus perhaps also known under a synonym? Metlapilcoatlus mexicanus is not known in eol.org or inaturalist. May I know how you got to the name?

    1. It would appear that the genus name was recently changed. I have found it under Atropoides mexicanus, the Central American Jumping Pitviper. Posted one month ago
