  1. I see that you are into those cold blooded creatures too. Nice details on this Iguana, I did see lots of them in Costa Rica..where is this one from? Posted 14 years ago
    1. I am not exactly sure. It was in 2007 and my first time with a DSLR. We failed to properly track the exact locations of our photos so now we have problems identifying them. A lesson worth learning. All I can tell is that this one is in Costa Rica near the end of a river, at a little harbor.

      Update: from the ordering of our photo set, this one had to be in Cahita.

The green iguana or common iguana is a large, arboreal, mostly herbivorous species of lizard of the genus "Iguana" native to Central, South America, and the Caribbean. Usually, this animal is simply called the iguana. The green iguana ranges over a large geographic area, from southern Brazil and Paraguay as far north as Mexico and the Caribbean Islands.
