    1. Yessss. Just a couple more weeks. We are finally expecting a few days of rain this week. I hope it makes a positive impact for the ephemerals. Posted 4 years ago
      1. Yay! and maybe even some morels? Posted 4 years ago
        1. That would be fabulous. I haven't found any in several years. I had two morel spots, but they dried up. Posted 4 years ago
          1. I still haven't found any on our land! I know they have to be out there! I think the season has nearly passed though. We have had several 80+F days :/ Posted 4 years ago
            1. Oh, wow! You are pretty far ahead of us for sure. Morels are so hard to find. I wouldn't eat them, but I still want to find them! Posted 4 years ago
              1. Have you had any from the store? THey have dried morels at Whole Foods in the dried spice/peppers section.

I've had both fresh and dried. They are pretty good, but they are definitely not my favorite.

                1. I think I might like dried morels. I tend to like dried mushrooms. But, fresh ones are too rubbery and icky for me. Posted 4 years ago
