What a beauty! Agapanthia dahlia is a longhorn beetle in the family Cerambycidae. There are more than 26,000 species of longhorn beetles worldwide! They are characterized by long antennae, which are often longer than the beetle’s body. They also have super cool, compound eyes, which wrap partly around their antennae! {Spotted in Lesvos, Greece by Paul Dirksen} #JungleDragon #Cerambycidae #Longhornbeetle #Agapanthiadahlia
