    1. Thanks Ludo. Usually we try to get the most out of our days in far destinations. We do the early morning hikes, the later afternoon hikes and if possible the night walks. This still leaves for the siesta hours to be used, which Henriette typically spends resting and reading, whilst I stroll around the accomodation for the smaller wildlife :)

      It is amusing how the locals don't understand what I'm doing. They presume we are there only for lemurs. Any other category of wildlife is assumed to not be interesting.

  2. Strabena vinsoni or S. vinsonii is endemic to Madagascar.
    According to an old plate in a book, this is a female.
