  1. Your continent's trophy moth, nice! I wonder if it's a male at the end of its adult life's purpose. Saw in a documentary recently that they (it was another large species, yet similar) just drop to the forest floor to die after they found the female and do their thing. Posted 5 years ago
    1. This would be a female...Let me see if I can find a link... Posted 5 years ago
      1. Scroll down the page for a photo comparing male and female antennae:

        1. Oh wow, huge difference. Well, forget about my theory. I did see it on TV, so it must be true. Posted 5 years ago
          1. Aww, well...People your age (aka, old guys) tend to be more gullible in believing everything they see on TV. So, it's understandable. Posted 5 years ago
            1. Although, the adults don't feed and simply live off fat stores. So, the adults basically live to mate and then die. At least, that's what I heard on TV. Posted 5 years ago
            2. I like a good and clear burn, being subtle is overrated :)
So, you're saying I should believe the internet?

              1. Yes, you should definitely believe everything that you read on the internet. It is full of experts. Posted 5 years ago
                1. Ok will do. I even just did a dandelion anther stack because somebody on the internet said it's a good idea. Posted 5 years ago
                  1. Wow, whoever suggested that sounds like an amazing genius! Posted 5 years ago
