Common Blackbird - female stuffing, Heesch, Netherlands
This is the female of a common blackbird couple that use our garden to play out their life cycle. Here's the male:
During both the collection of nest material and food for the young, the male and female share the work load. After the young leave the nest, the male takes care of them whilst the female is already in pursuit of getting new offspring.
I'm above all impressed with their learning capability. They know that I sprinkle the back yard with water on most days, and eagerly await this moment as it makes rain worms come to the surface.

The Common Blackbird is a species of true thrush. It is also called Eurasian Blackbird, or simply Blackbird, where this does not lead to confusion with a similar-looking local species. It breeds in Europe, Asia, and North Africa, and has been introduced to Australia and New Zealand.
