  2. Wow, wildflower, I thought it was a snake, at first glance! How wrong I am, my eyes have deceived me. A beautiful specimen, catching eyes and camouflaged well. Posted 12 years ago
    1. It's quite fat, isn't it? They are not really my favorite animals, but it was hopping in front of my bungalow, so I decided to take a quick shot. You are right about the eyes though. Now that I look at it, a portrait would have been interesting. Posted 12 years ago

The European green toad (Bufotes viridis) is a species of toad found in steppes, mountainous areas, semi-deserts, urban areas and other habitats in mainland Europe, ranging from far eastern France and Denmark to the Balkans and Western Russia.
