Malagasy White-eye in Andasibe On a very early, foggy morning we did a little bird walk in the Andasibe area, which largely failed due to the fog and cold. Still, we managed to see and capture this little white-eye bird.<br />

On a personal note, I&#039;m the kind of person that has to drag myself out of bed every day, definitely not a morning person. In Madagascar however, I cannot wait for the night to be over, so that we can walk and explore again. Quite telling on how awesome Madagascar is. The Malagasy White-eye is a species of bird in the Zosteropidae family. It is found in Comoros, Madagascar, Mayotte, and Seychelles.

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical mangrove forests, and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
