Lampranthus filicaulis
Ferdy noticed that 'Lampranthus' means 'shining flower', so I took a second shot to add to yesterday's posting, hoping to highlight the shine on these petals.
A member of family Aizoaceae, native from South Africa's Eastern Cape to southern Namibia. Typically, they are creeping plants such as this one here, though some species have an erect habit. The succulent foliage consists of pairs of short, waxy, triangular, blue-green leaves.
Each flower 20 mm diameter.
