Aloe imalotensis, Asphodelaceae
Growing with grasses in hot sunny dry habitat on open rocky habitat in areas where some moisture gathers. The area was on a plateau at around 835 m above sea level, where there was plenty of breeze.
I was attracted by the overall plant form of this Aloe with the rosette of broad glaucous reddish leaves.
Aloe imalotensis is a flowering succulent plant in the family Asphodelaceae. In the wild it is endemic to Madagascar, but it is also widely used as an ornamental garden plant,
