The Moor Club (Clavaria argillacea) is a species of mushroom that produces beautiful, clavate (club-shaped) fruiting bodies. It can be found in the U.K. and in numerous countries in Europe, where it grows in acidic soils, along with moss and heather. It is presumed to be a decomposer of grass and moss, and may have a mycorrhizal relationship with heather. {Spotted in the Netherlands by Paul Dirksen} #JungleDragon #MoorClub #Clavariaargillacea
