1. A nice sign of spring <3. I found a white one once:
Herb-Robert (White Form) - Geranium robertianum This plant was unusual because it had white flowers, rather than the usual pink ones.

Freshly picked, crushed leaves have a strong odor that resembles burning tires. If they are rubbed on the body, the smell is said to repel mosquitoes. I suspect that the smell would repel just about any creature. The active ingredients are tannins, a bitter compound called geraniin, and essential oils.

It's many common names include: red robin, death come quickly, storksbill, fox geranium, stinking Bob, squinter-pip, and crow's foot

Habitat: Mixed, swampy forest
1. Magic Christine, great spot! we get a few white forms of flowers, I understand that it has something to do with our alkaline soil, but I've never seen a white herb Robert!! Posted 5 years ago
      1. Thanks, David. This was the only white one I've seen...so far. Posted 5 years ago
