  1. Perhaps you already knew this, but they require no energy to hang from a tree, their claws are permanently shaped to hang at the bone level. Hunters discovered this fact when trying to shoot them down a tree. The shooting worked, the down part not so much. Posted 5 years ago

The brown-throated sloth is a species of three-toed sloth found in the neotropical ecozone. It is the most common of the four species of three-toed sloth, and is found in the forests of South and Central America.
