    1. Yes, all these tube worms secrete a calcareous tube around themselves and this way they can live even inside coral crevices and protect themselves by retreating on the tube very quickly when they detect some potential predator too close for comfort. Posted 5 years ago

Tube worms with bright red plumes, gradually turning pale towards the ends. The plumes extend from thin white and clustered calcareous tubes.
