How are you doing? Posted 5 years ago
For now my husband and I are doing well. I am working for a company that produces nucleic acid materials for molecular biology (Integrated DNA Technologies) and we are very aware of the Corona situation as we produce many materials for diagnostics and research. As a result our company has- already for one week- sent all of the office people to work from home and that includes me. We were already segregated from the production people to prevent contagion. The production people are very essential so they need to keep up and running. Mark works in the KBC bank as security IT and they did not sent him home until yesterday. Now we are both working from home. Luckily we live near woodlands and grasslands and out of big cities so is still possible for us to go on a walk and have some fresh air. For the moment is all Ok but I hope things don't get worse also with the panicky people constantly emptying supplies in the supermarkets...that is really annoying...all people needs to do is to stay home for a few weeks...oh, well...I guess same same for you in Holland??
