    1. Thanks! The 7 means the 7th moth species found this year at home. I'm trying to keep track of the total number of species that I document this year. I'm going to make a spreadsheet to help keep track.

Roland's sallow is a species of moth of the family Noctuidae. It is found from southern Ontario and Quebec, south to Florida. The wingspan is about 34 mm. Adults are on wing from April to May. The larvae feed on oak.
