Half-wing Moth (Melanic) - Phigalia titea
This moth is a melanic male. I know it's male because the female of this species is wingless. This is my first time spotting a melanic individual, which was pretty cool!
Fun fact: Melanic morphs of this species seem to prefer white backgrounds, such as white birch.
Habitat: Attracted to a 395 nm LED light in a semi-rural area
