
Winter swans at Windsor
On a trip back to my home country - standing on the banks of the Thames one very foggy, misty morning, I was reminded just how cold England can be in winter. It was simply freezing! But the swans didn't seem to be phased at all.

The mute swan is a species of swan and a member of the waterfowl family Anatidae. It is native to much of Europe and Asia, and the far north of Africa. It is an introduced species in North America, Australasia and southern Africa.
