    1. Thanks, I'm going to put on a quintet and a sextet - It was so colourful - if you get the chance & haven't been I can heartily recommend Maquenque Eco-lodge Posted 5 years ago
      1. Costa Rica was our first wildlife trip ever, back in 2007. That visit inspired me to create this place :)

I'm thinking one day we will attend Costa Rica again, but not soon. Next plan was Ecuador and after that it may be Asia, unsure yet. Unsure about Ecuador too, you know why.

        1. Yes, we were looking at Colombia/Panama - but as you say - we know why - Ecuador is on the list too - Asia is so large - not sure I'd know where to start & some very sad stories there but... Posted 5 years ago
          1. I was thinking about Borneo, mostly because of my macro interest and I love jungles. Papua New Guinea is also a far dream. Posted 5 years ago
            1. Yes I can definitely see that - there's also the birds of paradise & the marsupials - although a lot of deforestation but some wonderful unspoiled areas, although with very difficult access. Definitely a dream.... Posted 5 years ago
              1. I'd sum it up as silly expensive, extremely far, and a bit dangerous. Not sure it will ever happen.

But that's OK, just a country like Colombia I could visit 20 times without complaint.
