
Maryland Wild Senna (Senna marilandica)
A group of these lovely plants was in bloom on a dirt roadside, near the edge of a dense mixed forest and a seasonal stream. It was hard to miss the spires of bright yellow flowers! This is the first year I have seen these flowers since we have moved here, so I was so happy!
Also, check out the ants taking advantage of the nectaries!
