Snake or Eel? For a long time I thought that this was a Sea Krait. Even though I saw some differences, I never did any research. What I now believe I have shot here is Myrichthys Colubrinus / Harlequin Snake Eel.  This photo was taken in Madang, Papua New Guinea. ''Myrichthys colubrinus'' is a snake eel from the Indo-Pacific. It occasionally makes its way into the aquarium trade. It grows to a size of 97 cm in length.
