This caterpillar is a bonus as I didn&rsquo;t search for it. When I had enough spottings and got into the car I found the caterpillar on my shirt sleeve. Lucky me. There is something not quite right with the Genus .

  2. When I entered Agrius convolvuli it came up as Aerius above the image. I just did it again and the same is happening. I am sure that Agrius convolvuli is correct. Posted 5 years ago

"Agrius convolvuli", the convolvulus hawk-moth is a large hawk-moth. It is common throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and New Zealand, partly as a migrant.
