  1. Interesting! Posted 5 years ago
    1. It is almost surreal Christine, as I work one day a week there and when the macaws come over (I maybe only see them once every 2 or 3 months) - the look on the faces of visitors & of course the thrill of hearing and seeing them - occasionally you get some of the other parrots, but that is only very, very occasionally. They have their favourite chimneys. Very interesting looking hybrid too. I count myself as lucky!! Posted 5 years ago
      1. It's not something I had heard about nor would I expect to see in the UK! You are indeed lucky :). Posted 5 years ago
        1. It is very, very strange - sheep stripped fells 35 degrees out of synch Posted 5 years ago
  2. How wonderful, very lucky you. These birds are so magnificent in flight, as you know!

  3. Crazy! I thought free roaming Rose-ringed parakeets in the Netherlands were crazy, but this tops it by a mile. Posted 5 years ago
    1. Well the fabled parakeets (was it the Rothschilds who introduced them here or was it 007?) - we now have them up to Lancashire - But these are great - I'll try to find some parrots in a yew tree eating the seeds Posted 5 years ago
  4. Simply awesome! Posted 5 years ago
