Gall/Medallion Crab - Pseudocryptochirus viridis

This tiny crab is a very small parasite (Gall Crab). It affects mainly corals genus Turbinaria, on which it feeds on and in which it lives. Pseudocryptochirus viridis digs small holes in the coral and inhabit cavities in the stony coral.The crab lives inside corals.It feeds on coral polyps or mucus.
